Off The Eaten Track

Off the Eaten Track is a home grown food show that features well-known local Executive Chef, Alastair McLeod. This journey though Queensland’s backyard profiles both the quality and diversity of our food.

Some, like beef and spanner crabs, are iconic but there’s also an incredible array of lesser-known produce on display in the latest series. Queensland bred and grown AusJubilee pineapples, tea, bananas, vegetables, macadamia nuts, exotic fruit, eggs, beer, and artisan bread make for one incredible spread.

Whether it’s with a menu of Queensland mud crabs and mangoes, or exotic avocado ice cream, perhaps even some Australian desert limes, Off the Eaten Track tantalizes the taste buds.

Off the Eaten Track was produced by TPD Media in partnership with DAFF – The Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry.
