Australia’s stockmen and women helped shape our nation… and their history is celebrated at the Australian Stockman’s Hall of Fame and Outback Heritage Centre in Longreach.
As Australia’s premier outback heritage institution, the museum offers visitors a unique experience within its five themed galleries. Displays share stories of the bush and its legendary custodians – Australia’s first people, the aborigines; brave explorers; mighty pastoralists who opened up the land; and the sun-weathered stockmen and women who worked it.
The unspoken bond between a stockman and his horse was the central theme of a TPD Media-created television commercial created to encourage visitors to take their own journey to the Australian Stockman’s Hall of Fame and Outback Heritage Centre in Outback Queensland.
