The Royal Queensland Show, or Ekka as it’s commonly known, is Queensland’s largest annual event. Since 1876 the Ekka has brought a variety of talent, culture, produce, fun and entertainment to the heart of Brisbane.
TPD Media produced EKKA TV this year for Yahoo7. It was an intense production with up to three crews covering all aspects of the event over 10 days.
More than 30 vibrant online packages of approximately four minutes each showcased an array of exhibitors and highlighted visitor’s favourite Ekka moments via a digital telecast on Yahoo 7.
Our brief was to capture the spirit of the Ekka in an organic style and with quick production production.
